Camera angles

(These photo's were took as part of my gcse photography during year 10 and 11, i'm just using them as examples of camera shots and angles)

Canted angles
A camera angle which is deliberately slanted to one side, sometimes used for dramatic effect to help portray unease, disorientation, frantic or desperate action, intoxication, madness, etc.

Eyeline Match
A photo taken from the same level as the focal point, sometimes increasing the depth of field or enhancing the viewer's connection with the character.

Low angle
Taken below the eyeline of the focal point looking up, often resembles the power of the character and can also make her\him look imposing.

High angle

Where the character is located above the eye line, the camera looks down on the subject and the point of focus often get "swallowed up" by the setting.
